Windows 10: Can not stop important updates on Windows 7 ultimate SP1

HiMy PC are just keep upgrading every time i shut down my PC after Windows 7 windows server 2008 R2 update 2016 install. Its just keep gets 20-150 updates every time i shut down or restart. Automatic updates off dosent help. I want to stop getting updates every time!!Its so BAD!Its a warning icon on the start menu when i shut down or restart Now i hate to shut down my PC. How to fix?!

FIXED!! Windows 7 sp1 never ends searching for updates

They made it part of the WU client then, or it's two different things doing the same. Too bad you can't download it separately.

 

Vista Pre-SP1 vs. Vista SP1

I've been Windows Updating for two straight days and I finally saw SP1. If you want to troubleshoot it, follow these steps:

• Show hidden updates
• Manually install any failed updates (google the KB_____ and install from the windows site)
• Make sure everything in Device Manager is good to go

I had to do step two for like 4 or 5 updates to be able to see SP1.

Any other benchmarks you guys want to see? I might try PCMark05 (I think it works on Vista).
