    Because I couldn't rip these CDs for an audio book, I recorded them with an NCH software program. The files worked fine. But then I got an email from NCH telling me I owed them more money for the programs I've already bought. They wanted more money! I didn't give it to them and took their programs off my pc. The audio files I made with the program mostly stopped working. I went in the security details of the files and there's another user name listed a long number that I'm not seeing anywhere else. Is there any way I can make these audio files playable again?

    No sound while playing audio and video files.

    Hi,

    I appreciate if you could answer to a few questions to narrow down to the issue.

    • Which is the application that you are using to play the files?
    • Did you try the same on a different player?
    • Did you perform any troubleshooting steps?
    As an initial troubleshooting step, I suggest you to check if the volume is set low or in mute state in Volume Mixer.

    • Right click on sound icon.
    • Open Volume Mixer check for the application that you are playing the files with and increase the volume and check.
    If the issue still persists, I would suggest you to run “Playing audio” troubleshooter to diagnose and fix the issue.

    Follow these Steps to run Playing Audio Troubleshooter in Windows 10.

    1. Type troubleshooting in the search bar.

    2. Select Troubleshooting.

    3. Select View all on the top left corner.

    4. Click on Playing audio.

    I would like to update my cardgames that's the main reason.
    To be more specific I am thinking to create a professional Preference edition.
    Anyway the attachment file shows clearly what I want to do.
    If I add a *.wav file (like a recourse so it is hidden) I don't know how can I play it!
