    Can prevent "LOCAL SERVICE" from changing the system time?


    I posted a question because I needed help.Security Settings secpol.msc - Local Policy - User Rights Assignment - Change the system timeThe default member of the above item is "Administrators, LOCAL SERVICE".I deleted "LOCAL SERVICE" from the "Change the system time" item according to the work instruction, but it was restored again.Is there a way to enable deletion or prevent "LOCAL SERVICE" from changing the system time?thanks.

    Service Host: Local System (16)

    Windows 10, DSL internet with approx 120kbp speed. When the Service Host: Local System (16) utilizes the internet it uses up all the bandwidth preventing use of the internet and online gaming for an indeterminate amount of time without warning. Is there
    a way I can schedule a time for this feature to do its business or limit its impact on my bandwidth? I cannot disable it without windows potentially shutting down. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

    Windows Time Service not running and did not update with time change

    I tried the first set of steps on that link and I get a message - unable to start the windows time service. This same message appears with any of the 3 services listed

    if I try the 2nd option and this is what I get

    trying the 3rd option gives me the message that time synchronization failed

    Thanks for your time and troubles taken, Karthicka_R.

    Went through the steps 1 to 5 and then 7.

    After restarting, checked; still, Tamil is not found in the list of languages for 'Change System Locale'.

    (In fact, I had done this before raising this query. On reading your reply, I removed Tamil and went through the steps as listed above in my reply. Since the language pack was already installed, I didn't have to do the step-5; the screen also indicated that
    the language pack is already there.)
