Windows 10: Can someone help me to know if my cpu/gpu is underperforming

So i got a 4080 super and 7800x3d and games have been running a little different than the benchmarks.Can someone help me to know if my gpu/cpu is underperforming?Thank you!

GPU Underperforming

Hey, I recently got a new GPU, It's the Nvidia Geforce GTX750Ti. I was so happy but... the gpu started underperforming.

I saw a benchmark online that gets 40~ FPS at high settings in FH4. But I get 20~ FPS at The Lowest Settings in FH4.

Same with BeamNG, Saw a benchmark online that gets 35~ FPS in medium settings, and I get 13~ FPS At again, The Lowest Settings In BeamNG. Also, in ETS2, I Should be able to run it at the highest setting at 30~ FPS, But I get 25~ FPS at The Lowest Settings. Please help, I can't afford a new GPU because of the economy here in turkey.

My specs:

230W "Redrock" PSU

8GB Dual Channel 2400Mhz RAM

Windows 10 Pro 21H2

Nvidia Geforce GTX750Ti

Intel i3-6100

"TurboX" H110 Chipset x64 MBU

 

GPU Underperforming

There could be other factors as well such as if the rest of the computer is the issue, CPU, PSU, etc. Eg the 230W "Redrock" PSU is far too low for a computer with a 750ti. Using dedicated GPU's I would never recommend under 500 watts and personally I only build with 650 watt PSU with dedicated GPU. So this could very well be your issue. 650 watt is where I would want your computer to be at with that GPU. A the very least you have the CPU, GPU, mouse, keyboard, motherboard, chipsets, memory, drives, etc all taking up wattage. That could very easily pass 230 watt while running games.

You can see even Nvidia recommends a minimum of 300 watt PSU for the 750ti

You should know that the 750ti is not a true Vulkan based GPU so it will have big Vulkan performance issues over a newer GPU with any game that uses Vulkan instead of DirectX. I have a 750ti so I'm aware of this though its now in a work computer.

Also the FPS issues you explain can be typical for any game eg large cities can cause much lower FPS than areas with less geometry.

Also, I assume this GPU is used from mining or it could even be faked and that may also be a cause.

Also, I've noted that (if you happen to have a controller plugged in), for certain games, that can cause FPS issues.

Also 3rd party applications can cause FPS issues.

Too high resolution can also.

 

My GPU is heavily under performing, please help!

I suggest you to use the same GPU in different computer and check if the issue persist.

As you mentioned that you have overclocked the CPU, Microsoft does not recommend overclocking the CPU.
