Windows 10: Can someone help me to know what is going on with my computer? I have the dump file from...

My pc goes BSOD randomly and it has a code "Store Exception" or sometimes "Unexpected Store Exception". And when I look in the event viewer I found an error with the source bugcheck.

I appreciate the efforts taken by you in resolving the issue. I understand that you are receiving a Blue Screen error on your computer. I’ll certainly assist you with the issue.



However, please let us know

1. When exactly do you receive the Blue Screen error?
   
2. What is the error message that you receive?
   
3. Are you aware of any changes made prior to this issue?
   
4. What is the version of Windows 10 installed on the computer? To check type: winver in the search bar on the Taskbar and hit Enter.
   

Thank you for sharing the dump files. I have analyzed the dump files shared by you and found that dxgmms2.sys is causing the Blue Screen error. The dxgmms2.sys is a driver file related to the Graphics driver.



As you have already tried reinstalling the drivers, you may want to refer the troubleshooting steps mentioned below:



Install pending updates:



I would suggest you to install the pending updates (if any) available on the computer. To check for updates, go to Start >> Settings >> Update & Security >> Windows Update >> Check for updates.



Reset BIOS to defaults:



You may want to try resetting BIOS to default settings and see if that helps. To do this, when starting up the PC, press "Del" to enter BIOS settings. In BIOS select the option Load Default settings or Reset to Defaults.



Change Registry settings:



You may want to try changing registry settings and see if that helps.



Note: Important this section, method, or task contains steps that tell you how to modify the registry. However, serious problems might occur if you modify the registry incorrectly. Therefore, make sure that you follow these steps carefully. For added protection, back up the registry before you modify it. Then, you can restore the registry if a problem occurs.

1. Press Windows key + R. This will open Run. Alternatively, you can go to Start and search for ‘Run’
   
2. In Run dialog box, type ‘regedit’ and hit Enter.
   
3. In the navigation pane, locate and then select the following registry subkey: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\GraphicsDrivers
   
4. Now on the right hand pane right click on empty space and click on New and select DWORD (32-bit) Value
   
5. Rename the DWORD file as TdrDelay
   
6. Double-click on the file and change the Value Data to 8
   
7. Restart the PC
