Windows 10: Can someone help me understand why my C drive is so much more full that it is meant to be?

I have noticed that my C drive has a hell of a lot of used space that I don't seem to be using. I have ran a full virus scan and used a 3rd party disk repair tool called EaseUS Partition Master. Please can someone advise on what is happening?

I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if it helps.

• Press Windows + R, type fsmgmt.msc.
• Select Shares and right click on C$.
• Select Stop Sharing.

Help Me Understand What I'm Doing Wrong

I may be missing something, but I think what's being suggested is you use the arrow to choose another different method other then 'phone number' such as email or an authentication app, whatever's on the drop down list that's not a phone number.

 

How do I move photos from the my photo app to the pictures folder on the C drive?

  Select the photo and right click on the photo.
  
• 
  Select Open Folder.
  
• 
  From there you will be able to copy all the photos to C: drive
