    Can someone help me update my hp pavilion g6?


    I have been trying to update this PC for some time now. I've activated TLS 1.2 or so i think from the Microsoft Easy-fix 51044 file, yet when I try to run the media creation tool I still get the error code 0x80072f8f-0x20000 and a message to restart my computer because it cannot run the tool. Any advice on how to fix this would be appreciated because I'm honestly considering either buying a disc or factory resetting my computer.

    Windows 11 upgrade to old (9yrs) HP pavilion G6 laptop.

    I have an old (9yrs) HP pavilion G6 laptop with an Intel core I5-3210M processor. This processor is not compatible with Win 11. Furthermore, I cannot see any of the G6 supported processors on the W11 compatibility list, so it looks like I cannot upgrade to Win 11. Is this going to be the position for all time, or will more processors be added to the Win 11 compatibility list, in future?

    reading a CD on an HP Pavilion g6

    my HP pavilion g6 has a DVD reader, but I can't read a CD. shouldn't it read both a CD and a DVD??? or do I need new equipment?
