Windows 10: Can someone please help me figure out why my wired controller doesn't get recognised by...

The controller is being detected as a Xbox 360 Peripheral in the device manager. Every time I connect it, I get the usual 'connected' tune and the LEDs on the controller lit up. But, when I start a game, the controller doesn't work. Sometimes, it works on the starting screen, but as soon as I enter the game, it stops responding. The issue persists with every game I have tried. All of them have input set to controller in their settings.

I have scoured the internet for its solution, but nothing seems to work for me. I have also reinstalled the original Nvidia driver and updated it, along with installing all the latest Windows updates.

It would be much appreciated if someone can relieve me of this frustration.

I`m sorry I had not noticed that the text on the picture was in spanish. It says that windows has replaced some damaged clusters in "name" file and "directory". Then, at the end "an unspecified error occurred (75736e6a726e6c2e 4f6)".

I`ll do it and I`ll be updating this thread when I have the report.

i ve tried everything:with atiflash from dos,winflash.step by step with bios powercolor hd 6970 from the database.
nothing,doesn´t work.any suggestion????

thanks for response. I tried your steps with a Google DNS and Open DNS - but it doesn´t help.

The game still crashes in the moment I try to run it.

I'll be glad for another solutions.
