    Can someone please help me know if I have been hacked. I have a roomate that works in IT...


    My roomate loves to spy on everyone and anyone and now I think he is doing it to me. My computer always runs so slow, keeps changing, logs me out of things randomly, and has a hard time connecting to the internet even though Xfinity says everything is just fine. I don't know much about computers but I know him and I just need to know I am right before I confront him.     Did our Epson printer get hacked?

    Another question, is this on a home network or a work network? The steps @eidairaman1 listed are always a good first step. If this is on a work network you manage, I'd be much more concerned than the home one. It is possible someone is screwing with you, but malware could also be the culprit.

    Since none of the troubleshooting steps here worked, I'd suggest you do a Clean install.
