Rust keeps crashing

I have been playing Rust for years now but it seems like I am running into more and more issues at this point it is pretty unplayable with random crashing I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game, verifying the game, updating all my drivers, clean
uninstalling my gpu drivers and reinstalling them, getting rid of my overclocks, lowering settings in-game. and at this point, I am just done with it unless I can solve this issue.

any help would be appreciated if you need more information like about my system build or something please let me know

Rust and steam crashes

I have a omen with a i5 7600k, a gtx 1060 and 8 gigabytes of ram. It has windows ten on it, and no SSD. My rust crashes about every hour of playing, and the frames seem low. I have the same issue with minecraft, but other random games do fine like garrys
mod and such. Is my internet causing this issue, and what can i do to help it? Would getting an SSD help?

Increase the window size step by step and watch your vga temps permanently.
What happens?
If it crashes, run at stock speeds as suggested before and retry.

P.S.: When your system locks, does the display signal turn off after a time?
Stuttering sound or no sound at all when freezing?
What X1800XT model do you own exactly?
