Windows 10: Can someone tell me if a virus is removed by windows defender . Can it come back or run in...

hi there recently i plugged a pendrive of my friend and when I inserted it into my pc. immediately windows defender notification occurred and blocked 3 threats i was scared to see this and i formatted that pendrive immediately but i was later very tense about that virus so later i check what is that virus and got to know the names like bladdin.aj ,,,, trave.net,,,,,,encosh. these three virus are ocuured in which two were removed by windows defender and one was quarntined and i later also delete the quarntine folder from windows defender forlder so that nothing left ................... so m

ernel32.dll Virus Removal

I've googled this and followed the steps I found to remove it and it still comes back. I can't surf the net because of this Trojan.
I've ran malware bytes and it too can't remove it. I've tried Safe Mode manually deleting it and it still comes back. Right now I'm running super spyware removal to see if it can remove it.

Anyone ever had this or know how to get rid of it?

The virus is on a Laptop running windows xp.

Most of the times someone has windows 8.1 or 10, I tell them that an AV is not important, if they have low end machines (which they mostly do), as windows defender is quite good. On windows 7, microsoft essentials is really bad, so I suggest either AVG or Avast. Do you agree with my opinion/suggestion?
