Discus and support Can someone tell me why this error is happening when I try to install microsoft sql server... in Windows 10 Gaming to solve the problem; I have tried so many times but each time it gives this error.     SQL Server 2019 installation errors

    I am learning SQL server. So I downloaded developer edition.
    During the installation there were some errors. So I uninstalled I had used Revo Uninstaller trial version.
    First the installation had errors then uninstall had some errors like this it kept happening(I did 2-3 times install and uninstall). At last I did following

    What ever I found from control panel was uninstalled already.
    Now did a fresh installation.
    But I got errors again

    I am not able to figure out what went wrong.

    Ok I have been able to solve this. First I uninstalled every thing using an revo uninstaller and scanned for left over items of registry and empty folders with revo uninstaller. Then
    For fresh installation
    I did 2 things..
    1) the installation files meaning exe and cab files of SQL Server I had extracted from the downloaded iso had blank space in name
    C:\Users\koidera\arbit_user\softwares\sql server\exe and cab files of sql server 2019
    I changed this to
    C:\Users\koidera\arbit_user\softwares\sql_server\exe_and_cab_files_of_sql_server_2019
    2) I was double clicking the setup file as normal user what I should have been doing is run as admin.
