Windows 10: Can somone explain this error message to me in laymen's terms?

Event Viewer is showing this error message periodically. In addition, my Win 11 PC has been freezing up lately. I'm wondering if this message is the cause. Can't reset Cortana because I don't know my old password

Like others have listed, I can't changed the password with Cortana to be able to reset it to work. It continues to ask for my old password which I don't remember. I've tried numerous common passwords I regularly use but none work. I've seen Microsoft ways
of fixing the problem without any success. The directions they provide I really don't understand what they are suggesting. Can somone help in letting those of us trying to do this (with Windows 10) proceed with resetting Cortana in laymen's terms. We're not
all computer geeks. Thanks
