Windows 10: Can`t activate windows 10 professional

Hello!


I`ve just bought a new pc and installed Windows 10 Pro on it.


I got the windows files from my previous pc which runs the same windows, by using my usb and using Microsoft Windows USB/DVD download tool.

I had a previous windows 7 computer and after the upgrade Microsoft offered few years ago I upgraded my pc to windows 10.

So it mean my activation is a digital license linked to my Microsoft account.


I`ve already tried connecting to my Microsoft account and activate the windows - no success.
Troubleshoot not giving any result either.

At the Activation page at my settings, I get the following error message:


Just something I had in mind after reading the whole internet:

The windows is installed on both my new computer and old computer, is it the case?

If it is, how do I disable the old computer activation?

• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK

I won't buy a key, stupid.

I'll revert back to windows 7 then.

When I still was on windows 7, about a year ago I added 4GB extra ram which is a total of 8GB now,
is that causing the problem?

 

Windows 10 will not activate Error code 0x803F7001
