Windows 10: Can the monitor settings be different for each separate desktop same laptop?

I have Windows 11 on my laptop. When docked, my home office has one spare monitor for a dual-screen layout, and my work office has three for a four-screen layout. Thanks to some "fun" aesthetic/power access issues, when at home, the extended monitor A is to the left of the laptop B, but at the office, the three monitors are to the right B, then A, A, A. This means I either have to change the order of extended screens when shifting between locations, or my mouse goes the wrong way from what is intended. I have my laptop set up with one desktop for working from home and another for working

Displaying multiple desktops on separate monitors

Hello. Rather than switching between virtual desktops, is it possible to utilize multiple monitor set ups and display each desktop on a separate monitor?

 

How can I have a separate workspace/desktop for my laptop and main monitor?

Yes, the main computer is my laptop with an external monitor, sorry if I didn't make that clear. I already have a dual monitor setup (External monitor and Laptop Screen, the external is connected to the laptop using an HDMI cable), my external monitor is set to 1 and my laptop screen is set to 2. All I am looking for is to have two separate desktop displays (if possible) For example the Main (External) Monitor is desktop 1. The laptop screen/monitor is desktop 2. The problem I had was that when I changed my virtual desktops, both screens changed. I only wanted my laptop screen to change while my main external monitor did not. I am very sorry for explaining this on bad terms, I'm not the smartest at technology.

Virtual desktops lets you create multiple, separate desktops that each can display different open windows and apps. Multiple desktops are great for quickly switching desktops. The idea of having multiple virtual desktops is being able to order programs
according to a set of tasks.

PC can’t have different virtual desktop on each monitor. However, we can
configure the taskbar for multiple displays to send windows from one monitor to another. We can customize Windows to have a taskbar shown on only one display, and a different taskbar on the other display. To do that, follow the below mentioned
steps.

• Right click on the taskbar and select
  Taskbar Settings.
  
• Scroll down to Multiple displays section and choose
  Taskbar where window is open under Show taskbar buttons on option.
  

By choosing that particular option in Settings, you can set its independent taskbar in addition to your primary display. Only the open windows are shown on the taskbar in that particular display.

As a workaround, we can create a new profile to switch your main display to another. By doing that, you can switch between profiles which will be having different displays in it.
To do that, follow the below mentioned steps.

• Right click anywhere on the desktop and select Graphics properties > Select
  Display > make changes to change your main displays > click on
  Save profile > assign a name to it.
  
• You can create multiple profiles to make different monitors as main displays each time.
  
• To apply the profile, right click anywhere on the
  desktop and select Graphics Options > Profiles > in there you can select the new account which you have created to switch the display.
