Windows 10: Can the new Surface pro be upgraded to windows 11 pro

My aging Surface Book 2 is slowly dying i.e battery swell and poor battery life.I would like to replace it with a new surface pro. Can the windows Home version be upgraded to windows 11 pro

Windows 11 Home to Pro upgrade

Want to upgrade 11 Home to 11 Pro. Tried download, but apparently files transferred were for 11 Enterprise. This will not activate; error is "invalid digital license or product key". This is on a new Surface. How to proceed?

Can withdraw/delete this. The suggestion to downgrade - listed below - with a 'fake' windows 10 key works.

 

Windows 11 install on new Surface Pro

I'm trying to install Windows 11 on my new Surface Pro 8. I have an ISO image from my other Surface Pro. I boot the Surface Pro 8 using Windows Installation Media. The first Windows Installation screen appears. But I'm unable to advance to the next screen, regardless of which key I press.
