Windows 10: Can update 20H2 be reverted back to previous version which was 1903 within 10 days?

I updated my windows 10 Home, from Version1903 OS build 18362.1082, to Version 20H2 OS build 19042.630 using Windows Update in settings. I skipped 2004 and never saw an option for 20H1. It has been 8 days and I did not backup anything before downloading and installing the 20H2 update. Am I able to revert back to the previous Windows 10 Home, version 1903 and OS build 18362.1082? If this is doable, please include the process so I don't screw it up. The reason for wanting to revert back is I am experiencing problems that I didn't have before. I see a File Explorer in Windows C: a file folder called Windows.old. Thanks for your help in advance. JRP12-425

Windows keeps reverting back to previous version.

The issue with Windows 10 update reverting back to previous version could be due to corruption in Windows Update component files.

• Did you get any error messages or error codes?

We suggest that you try to run
Windows update troubleshooter and check if it works.

Windows 10 version 20H2

The computer in question had Windows 7 on it and there was not an option to uninstall the 20H2 update. So I have reverted back to Windows 7. Is there a way to download and install Windows 10 version 2004? The games will work on that version but not the
20H2 version.

Revert back to previous versions

I installed Windows 10 1 week ago and need to revert to windows 8.1. I have tried both of your suggestion to revert and a) do not have a 'revert to windows 8.1' listing on my settings-restore page and b) when I restart the PC holding the shift key and
select 'revert to previous build' I get a WDF Violation error and the system restarts Windows 10. There is a windows.old folder. I'm stuck, what can I do to restore Windows 8.1?
