    Can we always use a new tab anytime a file explorer is called?


    I work in different softwares throughout the day that will launch file explorer. Is it possible yet that anytime file explorer is going to be used, whether its with windows+E or launching from another software, that it opens in a new tab if file explorer is already open?

    Love the new option in File Explorer for multiple tabs.

    I have been unable to find a way to re-open all tabs in a single instance of File Explorer. When I select the Option to "Restore previous folder windows at logon", File Explorer opens a new instance for each of the tabs that I previously had open. I would certainly prefer for a single instance to open with the previous tabs in one instance, the same as what I can do in Windows Internet Explorer.

    All suggestions appreciated
