    Can we disable Win Auto Update on win 10 Pro ?


    As the title said, can we disable win auto update on win 10 pro ?
    i read somewhere on internet the difference between pro and enterprise is 10 pro can not disable auto update, only can defer it for 8 months (?)

    I agree, it can not possibly happen. But it does. I double checked both the laptop and desktop computers by re-enabling and then disabling auto-hide. Both of them boot 30 seconds slower with auto-hide enabled. No other changes. The laptop is running Win
    10 Home 10586.17. The desktop runs Win 10 Pro 10586.29.

    Will Microsoft Outlook 2010 run under Windows 10

    My outlook can't use anymore since upgrade to Win 10 pro. It's not my choice but when I open my pc, it already updated. So how to downgrade to Win 8.1? Will the files lost? I lost my files when Win 10 auto upgrade to Win 10 pro.

    The title doesn't make it clear what you want to do. Sure you can disable updates much in the same way you can run Windows XP if you want.

    Windows 10 is only supported though for 18 months unless you are on the Long Term Servicing Channel (Enterprise only) which is 10 years.

    If you continue running a release longer than that then you won't be able to get any updates.

    Assuming you are running Pro you will most likely want to run updates at least every year or so.
