Windows 10: Can we have the separate profiles for mouse and touchpad back?

I want to have different primary and secondary button settings for mouse and touchpad. Previously, I could. But now I can't.Plz refer to this thread, https://www.tenforums.com/drivers-hardware/128106-separate-profiles-mouse-trackpad-possible.html .

Interestingly (?) on this laptop (PC Specialist) - also 1809- the settings for left and right for mouse/touchpad remain independent.

Note this PC was upgraded to 1809, the Lenovo was clean installed as 1809.

Apparently after a recent update, I don't seem to be able to keep separate profiles for mouse and trackpad on my HP Spectre 360. Even though I'm a lefty, I've always scrolled the trackpad with my right hand and used my left on the button. This is opposite of how I use the mouse (right button being primary). I used to be able to switch the mouse and leave the trackpad in the normal orientation, but no longer. Switching the mouse buttons automatically switches the trackpad too. It's irritating to have to switch the buttons every time I plug into or unplug from my USBC hub/monitor. I've attached a pic that similar to the old mouse setting screen that seems to have gone away, as well as what I currently see. Any suggestions?

It may be that if you were to use an older driver you might be able to separate these, but most discussioins on this indicate the settings change together. Certainly so on this laptop. May also depend on the manufacturer as to what options you have.

Bear in mind that
a. drivers are sometimes updated
b. each new build of Windows makes changes
c. a new set of drivers is installed with each Windows build, which may result in some differences.
