    Can we remove features in the Windows 11 Touch Keyboard?


    We want to build a kiosk computer with a touch keyboard, based on Windows 11 IoT Enterprise LTSC. However, the touch keyboard provided in Windows has some shortcomings. Questions:Is there a way to lock down the touch keyboard further, perhaps via registry settings, so that the settings icon and emoji icons disappear? I know it was kind of possible in Windows 10, but searching online it seems this option has now been removed.If this is not possible, what is Microsoft's official stand on the touch keyboard? Is it not meant to be used in a limited kiosk environment at all?Do Microsoft plan to imp

    Touch keyboard pops up at login

    If the above steps didn't work, we suggest that you disable the Touch Keyboard and Handwriting Panel Service. Please follow these steps:

    • Click on Start.
    • Type Services, and then press Enter.
    • On the right pane, look for Touch Keyboard and Handwriting Panel Service. Double-click on it.
    • Locate the Startup Type drop down, and change it to Disabled.
    • Click on Apply button to save changes.
    • Click on OK button to close the Touch Keyboard and Handwriting Panel Service
      window.

    Let us know how it goes.
