Windows 10: Can Window 10 and 8.1 run smooth in Intel core i3-370M and Pentium 4 3.00GHz ?

I just found my dad's old pc in my house.System performancePentium 4 3.00GHz RAM: i guess 1,2,3 or 4GB ram DDR2I do not found any gaphics card40GB samsung HDD SATAThe motherboard broke so i can not tell the right system performance. And this is my computer:HP pavilion G7-1100Intel core i3-370M 2.40GHzIntel HD Gaphic for old genaration1 500GB HDD C: 99.3GB and other drive4GB RAM DDR3So can these 2 computer run the latest window 10 or the lastest window 8.1 smooth ?I do not know why my HP computer can not run smooth after get some updates.

Can I change my laptops Pentium Gold processor into Core i3 or else?

I have laptop (hp-bs043nl) with 4 GB RAM and Intel Pentium Gold 4415U processor (2.30 GHz , Dual Core ). I bought this laptop last year and I would Like to improve its performance. I already upgraded the RAM to 8 GB. I would like to whether
if can upgrade my Pentium Gold Processor to Intel Core i3 or i5
with quad core perhaps. Is it possible?

If you want to compare these two processors this site might help you. You have to know the model and it will show the comparison table from there you can decide it for yourself.

I personally would go with i3 (you haven't specified exactly which i3 model you are looking for).

I would go with i3-4005u roughly the same cost, better in every department against the Pentium.

Windows 10 and Intel Pentium 4 550 @ 3.40 GHz?

I'm receiving the message "The CPU isn't supported" in the "Get Windows 10" app, against this older CPU (Pentium 4 550 running at 3.40 GHz).

3.40 GHz is greater than the 1 GHz listed in the system requirements.

Does Windows 10 have a thing against Hyper-Threading, or require Virtualization tech from Intel CPUs? Are Pentium 4s not supported at all?

Has anyone gone ahead and run the upgrade anyway on this type of CPU?
