Windows 10: Can Windows 11 read old HDDs from IDE adapters?

I have the Sabrent USB 2.0 Sata/IDE hard Drive Adapter. I used it without issue on Windows 10. My windows 10 machine recently died and I tried to use my laptop which was recently updated to Windows 11 to read a hard drive from the machine that died using the adapter, but it didn't even recognize that I had plugged the drive into the machine.Again, I used this adapter frequently, and without issues on the Windows 10 machine. Is it possible that Windows 11 does not work with this adapter or does not read drives attached to adapters? I do notice that many ads do not list Windows 11 as an optio

Windows 11 not reading my HDD and showing not available

My laptop is Lenovo Ideapad 330 15ICH, i recently install SSD in my laptop, and formatted hdd because it was creating problem while installing windows 11. Now i have only one OS of windows 11 from SSD, The main problem is this - in Device Manager/ Disk Drives my SSD and HDD are listed but in the disk management. windows is not even reading any HDD. When i go to My PC no HDD drives are listed. How to fix this issue? Please help.

Please help me with this problem as the HDD is really useful to me because i want to use it now just like an external drive, which is installed in my laptop.

 

Can data from old IDE drives be read and retrieved in windows 11?

I am attempting to read my old IDE drives in windows 11 using a Fideco USB 3.0 to IDE/SATA converter cable. Nothing is showing in disk management that detects it, other than a delayed sound notification that a USB device was connected. Is this a controller issue with windows 11? In any regard, how may I be able to resolve this issue? thank you
