HI We have a windows service with TCP listener from .net 2 version. But according to the requirement I have rewritten it like a background service with Worker service template in .net Core. The TCP client can send multiple requests from various clients. But our new service in .net core is not able to accept multiple requests from multiple clients. That means its taking request from one client and giving back the response and its accepting next and so on from same client but not accepting requests from other clients. Please help. Group Policy Client Service Windows 10 Home

Before assisting further, I would like to ask you few questions:

• Did you check if the Group Policy Client services is running from the Services window?
• What is the exact error message you are getting?

I suggest you to check if the Group Policy Client service is set to
Automatic and Running by following the steps below.

• Press Windows logo key on the keyboard, type services and select the top most search result.
• Locate Group Policy Client services in the window and check if the
  Status column shows Running. If not start the service by pressing the
  Start service icon located on the toolbar of the window.
• Check if the status now shows Running and the
  Startup type is set to Automatic.
• If the startup type is not set to automatic, double click on the service and select
  Automatic under Startup type.
• Click on Apply and OK.
• Close the window and check if the changes are effective.

Failed to connect to the group policy client services

Thank you for posting in Community. I understand your concern and we will try to assist you in the best way we can.

The issue that you are facing may be due to the reasons stated below:

· User Profile Service or Group Policy Client service stopped working.

· Antivirus software conflicts.

· I would suggest that you first check if the services for Group Policy are running.

To do so follow the steps mentioned below
:

• Find the Group Policy Client service.
• Right click on the service, and click on Properties.
• The service status should be started and startup type
  automatic, if not, change the values accordingly, then click Apply and then OK.
• Press Windows + R key and type "services.msc" and press enter.

Someone explain what these services are

If you go into Services in Administrative Tools, you can find out what they are. Just posting something that could be from multiple programs that placed a service in the OS, is like I stated before.

Those services sound like they are handling a sync operation of your user profile or a program that you are using.
