Windows 10: Can you ask Windows to set hourly reminders?

With Cortana gone, what is Windows' preferred method for setting routine reminders? I used to ask Cortana to do things like "remind me to check the support mailbox every hour for the rest of day", and she'd handle the rest. I didn't have to add noisy calendar items to my outlook calendar, nor create recurring tasks in a task app. Cortana just did the thing with one simple question. Amazing that technology is going backwards these days.

How do i set reminder from calendar appointments

Follow these steps to set up a reminder for calendar appointments:

• When in Calendar click the + sign to add a new appointment.
• Click More details (right at the bottom left)
  
• Set Reminder
• Save

Make sure that the volume is not set on zero, otherwise it won't ring.

 

Windows 10 Pro and Ergnomic Break Reminder

Do you remember installing any break reminder software?



It looks like it is a pop up from a break reminder software.



I suggest you to look for this in Programs in features and uninstall it if do not use it.



Try the following steps:

• 
  Press Windows + R keys to open Run Command
  
• 
  Type Appwiz.cpl and hit enter
  
• 
  Search for the programs and un-install it.
