Windows 10: Can you change your user name to a new account. Not an allies?

can I change my reg user name and create a totally new account just for the registration and to keep everything separate for my laptop? I plan to use the account for my cctv security system and don't want to have anything else being done with it.

Perform the steps mentioned below to change the user account name.

• Sign in to the Your info page on the Microsoft account website.

  Under your name, select Edit name.
  If there’s no name listed yet, select Add name.
  
• Edit or add the name you want, then choose Save.
  Your Microsoft account name will start to appear or change everywhere you use it.
  

Please revert if you still cannot change the user account name.

User account name changed

Hello,

I have changed user account name (local administrator) in Control Panel/Settings.
However, when I open windows power shell and type command Get-LocalUser, I can see in the list old name.
Reboot didn't solve the problem.

I'm not sure if this is a real problem, because I can use this new name (shown in Windows User account settings) to log into Windows, but I wonder why old name is still present in the list in PowerShell.

I've just reinstalled Win10 and created a second account for my wife. Unfortunately, the login names is the mail she's registered to Microsoft.

How can I change the name.

I've read an answer to same question suggesting following:

I don't have that option in Win10.
