Windows 10: Can you clean install on ssd and format hdd at once?

Hi!

I want to do a clean install of windows 10 on my ssd. Id like to format my hdd at the same time. I find a lot of information on how to avoid that but little on how to actually do it.

When you chose the custom installation and you get to the part where you delete all the partitions on the C drive until its all unallocated space, will I see my other drive there? Can I format it from there and then when its done choose the other drive to install windows?

I know I could format the hdd before or after the install but as Im worried about malware formatting everything at the same time seems like the safer bet to wipe everything.

Fresh Windows Install on SSD, while formatting HDD

I am going to upgrade my laptop with an SSD, and I would like to make a new-fresh install of Windows in there, while deleting everything from my HDD, which I am going to use to store data. So, I've been reading on the internet, and what I want to do seems
pretty dificult, as most people can't format the HDD after installing Windows on the SSD. What's the best way of making a clean install on the SSD while deleting everything on the HDD?

PD: I'll do the install in like a month, I made this post so I would have everything clear at the moment of the installation.

Okay, so basically I format the HDD in the Installation process without really installing it, then I install the SSD and uninstall the HDD, then Install Windows on the SSD, then shut down the pc again and connect the HDD, finally adding a Simple Volume on
the Unallocated Space of the HDD, right?

To know what cable to remove to disconnect the HDD from the motherboard, I should look at the Laptop's instructions, right?

Clean install Windows 10 on new SSD to rplace failing HDD and corrupte

How to do a clean install of Windows 10 on a new SSD that will replace a failing HDD and corrupted data files in a Laptop PC?
There seems to be a lot of old posts that touch on various subjects that I need help with but none that lump them all together. This is a clean install of Windows 10 on a new SSD on a Laptop PC that was previously upgraded to Windows 10 with the free upgrade just prior to the free upgrade becoming unavailable. About 6 months ago intermittent weird problems began to appear and with the help of various support groups and Windows Community we came to the conclusion that the HDD needed to be replaced(failed Seagate's drive test) with an SSD (My Choice) and a clean install of Windows 10(corrupted data files in the OS).
I was given a URL to download and burn to DVD an ISO file of Windows 10 PRO 64bit OS. I purchased a 240GB Sandisk SSD. I don't need to partition this drive as the single C: partition is adequate for size and speed.
Is there a step by step procedure listed somewhere that preps(formats?) the SSD using disk management for Windows 10 and then using the ISO file that I burned to a DVD, installs Windows 10 on to my SSD? I am not familiar with ISO files and am assuming that is something that is sent to you to boot from and install from when you order SW from MS.
