Can you get Microsoft print to pdf to work on one document at a time?

Pausing the document has no effect. If there are 3 files on the list, it will still process them all at once. My computer only has 8gb, and my pdf is about 3000 pages, so I have to split the pdf into 6 parts, otherwise Microsoft print to pdf will just generate a 0 byte pdf. It takes about 30 minutes to print one part, and it's really annoying to sit at the computer all day because I have to print 12,000 pages.

    :)

Occasionally "Microsoft print to pdf" creates empty files

Have already done all of the steps suggested in that link.
The problem only happens occasionally; maybe two or three times a day.
Happening on several PC's, the only way to catch it before it goes to customers is the size of the file created.
If it is 0 or 1kb, it's a blank document.
Microsoft Print to pdf was working fine until about two weeks ago.
    Thank You
