Windows 10: Can you help me becuase my mouse doesnt work anymore

I wanted to download the hp pavilion gaming mouse 200 software and I tried to update it on the website and every since it has stopped working. The RGB doesn't work but the sensor light is on so there is nothing wrong with the wiring. Also, it goes under as usb input device when i go onto bluetooth then more devices. Can you please respond asap.

Mouse and touchpad not working

Hey did exactly what you suggested and the first time i did it the mouse cursor became visible, it was at the center of the screen but i still couldnt make it move with the touchpad and i plugged in my usb mouse and that doesnt work too. I did it a few moret times but cursor never showed up again and still could make either the touchpad or the mouse to work. Do you have anymore suggestion?

When I right click on mouse for properties with explorer, it doesnt work anymore for files or HD!
No reaction at all.

Annoying problem, how to fix that?

mouse is not working right


unfortunately there isn't a lot to a usb mouse. what i would suggest is checking the power management settings on it.

Right-click the start menu and choose device manager
Expand Universal Serial Bus Controllers at the very bottom
Double-click on each HUB you have listed, click Power Management Tab at the top, and UNCHECK "Allow this computer to turn off this device to save power"
You may have HUBs called Generic and Root Hub. Perform the step above on All of them.

If you continue to have the issue, i would imagine your mouse is malfunctioning. Perhaps try another mouse just to be sure. This will help you determine if it is in fact the mouse of computer causing the issue.
