Windows 10: Can you help me? Why do I get error code 0xc0000409 every time I try to upgrade to windows 11?

Hi, I have a pc that is about 2 years old or so. It meets all requirements for Windows 11 and is ready for upgrade. However, every time that I try to upgrade to Windows 11, it never works. When I use the installation assistant from the microsoft website, it downloads, verifies, and then installs windows 11. It eventually goes to a blue screen and gets to around 80 something percent, before going back to a window that says "something went wrong: select try again, and if that doesn't work, contact microsoft support for help." The link just takes me to a general windows 11 faq page with no actual

I attempted to upgrade my windows 10 professional from build 1703 to build 1709, but I received an error code of 0xc0000409 how do I correct this error so that I don't get this error again ???? ( I DON'T WANT TO MESS MY COMPUTER UNTIL I HAVE
PROPER INSTRUCTIONS )
