Windows 10: Can you move icons into different virtual desktops ?

I know you can run apps in different virtual desktops, but is there a way to split icons between different desktops ? I would like to use a different desktop for working on a particular project and move the icons for the apps used into that desktop. Thanks Jack Win10

That is one of my most wanted features. Unfortunately, I have not found any way to accomplish that yet.

In Windows 11 they have at least taken one small step toward that by allowing you to change the desktop background for each virtual desktop, but no change in what icons can be displayed on a per desktop basis.

In order to understand the issue in a better manner, I would like to ask you a few questions.

• Did you make any changes in settings recently?

I suggest you to left click the icon and drag it to where you prefer on the desktop. It is working same as in previous Windows versions.

Windows 10 also supporting Virtual Desktop. I suggest you to go through the below article and check if it appropriate for you.
