Windows 10: Can you permanently disable re-creation of User Folders?

User Folders such as Videos, Pictures and all those.

With big updates I always have to move them by rightclicking, location and paste the new location. I keep them all together in Documents/User Folders that I then hide.

But honesty, it would be nice to be able to permanently disable this.

Error Access Denied while acessing the folders from User> AppData folders on Windows 10

I understand the inconvenience you are facing with access files and folders.

Do let us know the complete error code/ error message of this issue?

As you have tried with providing the permissions to each folder and issue persists after the restart, try the below and check if it helps.

Step 1: Try to disable the third party anti-virus software if installed any and check.

Step 2: As, as a work around, I suggest you to enable the built-in administrator account and check if this issue persists.

Steps to enable Built-in administrator.

• • Press Windows + X key together on your desktop screen.
  • Click on Command Prompt (admin) to open Command Prompt.
    
  • Type the following command and hit Enter:

• net user administrator /active: yes (Check for the spaces)

　　　4. Now log off from the current user and try to login to the administrator account that is enabled.　　

Note: Please follow the same steps and type net user administrator /active: no to disable admin account after the troubleshooting is done.　

Step 3: I suggest you to refer to the below Microsoft article with 3-diffrent issues related to accessing the files and folders and check if it helps.

How to disable Airplane mode permanently on Windows 10?

Let us try few of the below troubleshooting steps to disable Airplane mode and check if it helps.

Step 1: To turn off Airplane mode from Settings and check.

• Click on Network & Internet.
• Under Airplane mode turn it off and check.

Step 2: To Turn On or Off Airplane Mode in Network Notification Area Icon

Windows Resource Protection (WRP) file is missing or is corrupted, Windows may not behave as expected.

• Right click on the Start button, click on
  Command Prompt (Admin).
• Type “sfc /scannow” without the quotes and hit
  Enter.
• After the scan, restart the computer and check for the issue.

disable creation of Maploader folders

Hi,



Recently, very sadly, my 5410i died. So I got a new phone. This one has a USB port, so I decided to check out the OVI software. It's pretty useful for backing up my contacts (about 200).



However, since installing the software I noticed I have folders Maploader on each harddrive (and I have quite a few). I don't like those folders everywhere. With a little Googling I found out OVI is most likely doing this and considering my history of installing
software, it makes a lot of sense to me.



So: how do I disable the creation of these folders? I already removed OVI from the list of programs to start up with Windows, but isn't there an option in OVI to disable this annoying habit?
