Windows 10: Can you please help me disable the bitlocker, which was activated unnecessarily?

Hi, I ran into a problem after booting a Linux Ubuntu 22.04 system from an external SSD under Windows 11. The bit locker encryption mechanisms somehow is activated, because there was no alert or anything I do not know my recovery key. I used a local account to acces the computer, so I have no copy of the key in any of my Microsoft accounts.

I suggest you to perform below mentioned steps to disable BitLocker.

To disable BitLocker I would suggest you try the following steps and see if it helps.

  Press Windows key + X and click on
  Control Panel.

  Change View by from Category
  to Large Icons/Small Icons.
  
• 
  Click on BitLocker Drive Encryption and click on
  Turn BitLocker Off.
  
• 
  Follow on screen instructions. Click on Decrypt the Drive
  when the message appears.
