Windows 10: Can you please let me know how to turn my hash key back to a hash from a \ ?

Hi, my cat's been walking on my keyboard and now my hash key is giving me a \ Can you please let me know how to fix this?

tilde key and hash

hello

ive been on a game on facebook and as part of playing the game i have a problem with a key the key i need is tilde key which is on my hash key the only way i can get the ~ tilde symbol is by pressing shift and hash however the game im playing wont
recogize it meaning i can auto combat pvp gvg areas of the game is there some way i can a key switch or something ?is there an easy fix to this as several others on game have this problem thanks for any help in advance

I suggest you verify whether the files really are identical. Generate different hashes- as f14tomcat suggests below..
