Windows 10: Can you reinstall Winodws 10 with a secondary drive failed?

I have been forced to make a new install of Windows 10 into a machine with a known dead/malfunctioning secondary drive - will this be problematic?THE HISTORY:I have a machine with three 3 SSD SATA drives, 1 is the boot drive C 500Gb, 2 is a large game file drive D 250Gb, and 3 is a small games drive E 250Gb.Woke up a few days ago to find the third drive E had failed for some unknown reason.Windows Explorer could only identify the E drive as being there by did not have the proper name "Games E" but rather "Local Disk E:"When I clicked on the E drive in Explorer the app would l

Windows 10 1909 Causes Secondary Hard Drive to not be Recognized

Installing the Windows 10 1909 Update causes my secondary hard drive to not be recognized.

Steps to confirm issue:

• Secondary drive not visible in Windows Explorer
• Secondary drive not visible in device manager
• Secondary drive not visible in disk manager

Steps to replicate issue:

• Installing 1909 update

Steps to resolve issue:

• Uninstall 1909 update

Since updates can only be delayed for so long, an actual fix would be appreciated.

in Windows 10 and check if it helps. Follow the below steps to run Search and indexing
troubleshooter.
