Windows 10: Can you tell me whats wrong with my laptop half of the wifi/internet section is...

Can you tell me what happening to my windows 10 because half of the internet/wifi section is showing up and i don't know if it because of the laptop, Please reply back when you have a answer

Laptop can't connect to wifi. Unidentified network no internet access

So often I run into clients/potential clients in my area that think Wi-Fi is the computer connecting to the Internet, in reality Wi-Fi is the connection of the computer to the Wireless Router which in turn is connected to the Internet.

A portion of the list of Wi-Fi Routers within less that a mile of me, about half:

 

Laptop now won't connect to Internet

It was the Device manager diagram that I wanted to look at. If you expand Device manager by dragging the bottom border downwards, the whole device list should become visible.

For the avoidance of doubt - I'm not suggesting only reinstalling the WiFi adapter driver if it is newer. Because you are not sure what changes you did when you were trying to use WiFi, reinstalling the driver is worthwhile even if it is the same version as the one you have now. It will ensure that there is nothing to stop WiFi operating whatever changes had been made - so, short of the WiFi key on the keyboard having turned WiFi off, it should work.

If there is still a problem then I suggest posting/reposting the diagrams of:
- Device manager, Network adapters section
- Settings, Network, WiFi [If it is there. Otherwise all of Settings, network] But larger than the first version of it -

Windows 10 laptop doesn't connect to internet via wifi

This looks like the adapter can't resolve Internet addresses. I would recommend you to open a command line window (Win+R -> cmd) and then test this:

1. ipconfig to see what IP your gateway have (e.g. 192.168.0.1) and to check, if your WLAN adapter got a valid IP address
   
2. ping 192.168.0.1 (your gateway) to see, if there is a response.
   
3. If the ping was successful you could ping to the google DNS with ping 8.8.8.8
   
4. If that was successful, try to ping google.com, if you get an error, then most probably the DNS servers are wrong.
   
5. To see what DNS are set, you could do a ipconfig /all and scroll to the DNS section of your WLAN adapter.
   
6. To set DNS you could follow this steps: How to Change DNS Servers in Windows. You could use 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 (google DNS) or set it to automatically, if something wrong is set.
