Windows 10: Can you upgrade 2005 xp service pick 2 laptop to windows 10?

Two sided question, old xp laptop, wasn’t connecting to internet, got it to connect, but the internet explorer doesn’t connect to anything, is there a way to a. Connect to internet as is? B. Upgrade to win10 and then access internet, if so is there any guides?

Tried downloading iso flash media tool creator thing to a drive but wasn’t showing on xp laptop bios (downloaded from a win10 pc) so I’m just kinda re downloading and restarting and doing all the trial and error but if any methods are better please point me in the right direction.

When I run the program as the xp laptop is on it says c/ drive not a win32 app, it doesn’t show as usb or anything other than than toshiba hard drive the one it’s using.

I’m using 32 bit, attempting to do the same but with iso file not the usb media tool one, will edit again.

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

 

Windows XP Service Pack 3 (SP3) Release Dates

The guys over at Neowin.net have managed to get their hands on the internal schedule for the release of Windows XP Service Pack 3.

• April 14, 2008: Support is available for the release version of Service Pack 3 for Windows XP
• April 21, 2008: Original Equipment Manufacturers, Volume License, Connect, and MSDN and TechNet subscribers
• April 29, 2008: Microsoft Update, Windows Update, Download Center
• June 10, 2008: Automatic Updates

Office XP Service Pack 3 update for Windows 10??

That was a naming convention 'screw-up' of Microsoft with the naming of Windows XP and Office XP, tried to tie them together. If you have ANY portion of Office XP on your computer that can be identified as part of Office XP/2002 such as PowerPoint Viewer, Word Viewer, Excel Viewer, etc., it probably is picking it up and offering that update.
