    Can I get bitlocker for my upgraded Win10 home operationg system?

    Home can read bitlocker'd drives, it cannot create them.

    Pro can create bitlocker'd drives.

    Bitlocker

    Each drive will have their own unique recovery code.

    If you don't have the recovery code or password for a bitlocker'd drive, then you won't be able to get into it.

    In future, be sure to save the recovery keys and password for your bitlocker'd devices.

    Hi jgilbreath.

    If the USB key is encrypted you need a method to un-encrypt.

    If there is no other useful information on key use the Media Creation tool to create new media. If MCT is downloaded today and used it will download V1709 media.
