  1. Candy Open detected. Unable to clean with Windows Security & GridinSoft Anti-Malware

    Hello,

I have recently accessed an infected USB drive and since then my Windows Security shows alerts about Candy Open and it cannot clean the Adware. Even the GridinSoft Anti-Malware cannot detect nor clean the Adware.

  2. McAffee and Emsisoft Anti Malware

I personally use Emsisoft Anti-Malware and IMO it is far better than McAfee...

If you decide to use Emsisoft, please make sure to fully uninstall McAfee with the help of their specific removal tool from this List
    of anti-malware product removal tools
    before you install Emsisoft.

    FYI:

I've asked a moderator to remove the best buy link in your post. If you want to buy Emsisoft Anti Malware then it's best to go directly to their site: emsisoft.com

  3. Security and Maintenance won't detect my anti-malware product

First of all, you only have to use one real-time Anti-Malware product , if both of them are real-time Anti-Malware product, you have to uninstall one of them.

For the problem with Security and Maintenance, you should contact the manufacturer of these products and ask them about the solution. You might use the version which is not compatible with Windows 10. Security and Maintenance Center is able to detect most
    known Anti-Malware products.
