Windows 10: cange file transfer speed back to mbps

I was doing some file transfers, and I noticed that the speed was now being shown as items per second rather than megabytes per second. Is there any way to change it back to mbps? Thanks!

Ethernet Link Speed at 10 Mbps

Hello Marco,

I actually tried that already, but I tried it again (For me the option is called Speed & Duplex) I set it to the max value of 1.0 Gbps. I also disabled the 'Auto Disable Gigabit' option and it still shows a link speed of 10/10 (Mbps) and when I run a speed test both values come in at just under 10 Mbps.

Anything else you suggest?

How to Fix USB file transfer speed stability in windows 10

My usb 3.0 file transfer speed in approx 10 to 12 mbps. But when i pause transfer and resume after 3-4 seconds speed increases to 34-39mbps for 2-3 seconds and then stable to 20-21 mbps. Please help me to stable at speed of 20-30 without pausing and resuming technique and why this works???

 

Ethernet Link Speed at 10 Mbps

Hello, I have been having some slow ethernet. I went through the settings and in the properties for mt connection it says the link speed (transmit/receive) is at 10/10 Mbps. When I try wifi its capped at 520 Mbps but its very unstable most of the time, so I want to use ethernet. Here is some information about my situation:

• Using a Cat.6 Cable
  
• Tried reinstalling ethernet drivers
  
• I tried resetting the network through the settings
  
• I tried all of the steps on this page Fix Ethernet connection problems in Windows - Microsoft Support
  

I would really appreciate additional ideas on how to fix this problem.
