    Cannot access my Multipass VM on Windows 11 and Hyper-V


    I've been successfully running multipass 1.10 on Windows 10 Lenovo under Hyper-V.My company has decided to manage all computers using "Intune" so I have been forced to migrate to a new Dell laptop running multipass 1.11 and Windows 11 Enterprise; Hyper-V is enabled and WSL2 is disabled.I am unable to get any networking on any multipass VM's when launched or started, the command fails with the following errorCannot access my Multipass VM on Windows 11 and Hyper-V :pS C:\Users\CliveWilliams> multipass start ubuntu-18start failed: The following errors occurred:ubuntu-18: timed out waiting for responsePS C:\Users\CliveWilliams>The VM is

    It sounds like there may be an issue with the Hyper-V authorization policies on your computer. Here are some steps you can try to resolve the issue:

    Check your Hyper-V authorization policies: Open the Local Group Policy Editor by pressing Win+R on your keyboard, typing "gpedit.msc", and pressing Enter. Navigate to "Computer Configuration" -> "Windows Components" -> "Hyper-V". Check if the policies "Hyper-V Administrators" and "Hyper-V Service" are configured correctly.

    Make sure you have the necessary permissions: Ensure that you are logged in as an administrator account or a user with Hyper-V administrator privileges.

    Restart the Hyper-V service: Open the Services window by pressing Win+R on your keyboard, typing "services.msc", and pressing Enter. Find the Hyper-V Virtual Machine Management service, right-click it, and select "Restart".

    how to backup an Hyper-v VM with Win 11?

    I have Hyper-V installed on Win 11 and I'd like to schedule a full backup (that could be restored!).

    I could export VM, but it's manual, not automatic!

    I'd read about Windows Server Backup, but I'm not sure I could get it on Win 11 ; I didn't succeeded to install it :-(

    As my VM is Linux, I could make a system backup, that gives a .img, but after, I don' know what to do with it in Hyper-V
