Windows 10: Cannot access new business account

I was in the middle of setting up my new small business account when something else came up and I had to cut it off. Now I can't log back into it to finish setting it up and support is sending me in a viscious circle constantly landing back at telling me "You must contact your administrator to both reset your password and to check your organization’s setup.". The administrator being me, unable to log into the admin account. I've tried calling the windows support line, to similar result. How else could I get back my login to continue the setup proces?

Changing Microsoft personal account to business account

A number of years ago I thought I created a Microsoft account for my business but it is listed a personal account. Every time I set up a new computer I consider creating a new business account but I want to access my subscriptions so I continue to use this account. I have since come to understand that the business account is better suited for my business (security, etc.) Can I switch this existing account account to a business account?

OK, I created a new account without an email address. Now I have a business account, a Microsoft account and a new account with no email address. When I'm in the business account, I still can't switch user to any of the two other accounts. Am I missing a step? To be clear, what I'm trying to achieve is having a business account and a Microsoft account (personal) and I'd like to be able to switch between these 2 accounts. Any other suggestions? Tx

 

Settings can't be opened using the built-in administrator account

Unfortunately I have the same issue as Dabz from upgrading win7 to win10.
I've tried opening settings using all the suggested methods and it will not load using my account with Administrator access nor the built-in Administrator profile. I also tried other methods not listed such as using Run. Control panel is just a stepping stone to add users in Settings.
I'm also having explorer.exe issues, which I believe is preventing Settings from loading.
Using cmd (Admin) I successfully created a new user profile [and granted admin access also using cmd (Admin)], however win10 will not allow this account to log on. win10 does not list this new user within control panel but it does in the start menu. win10 will not allow to log in or switch to the new account via the start menu either.
I can access settings in Safe Mode but this will not allow me to create a new account.
Any help/suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
