Windows 10: Cannot access Settings on Windows

I cannot open the settings app, the snipping tool, or any app related to Microsoft. I can open chrome and other apps, but I can't access the Internet unless I'm somewhere that I've been before and the wifi automatically connects. I cannot even see what version of Windows I am running because I can't open the settings. Can someone please help? I have restarted the computer so many times. Also, when my computer falls asleep and I have to sign in again, I can't just put in my pin anymore, it makes me put my email password. My computer is becoming unusable. Please help.

access BIOS settings in Win 10

I have an 8-year old computer running Win 10. I need to access the BIOS settings. It used to be the holding down the F2 key during startup would bring up the BIOS screen in Windows computers. But this no longer works. A web article listed a complicated
series of steps leading to a reboot . . . but still no access to BIOS. Any suggestions?

That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.
