Windows 10: Cannot access. Shared printer of Windows 10 and Windows 11

Hi,We have decided to upgrade all our PC to Windows 10 and 11. And now I am having an issue with accessing, shared printer on Windows 10 and Windows 11, I have not changed anything on the network side. I have put back the old windows 7 pc for isolation purposes and all sharing of printers worked just fine. Your utmost support and working ideas are deeply appreciated. Kindly see error screen shot.

Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK

We understand your concern, as you are having issue with accessing the files and printer within the network and in order to get clarity and to assist you accordingly, please reply with the answers to the questions below.

• What is the error message you get, while accessing the file or the Printer using Windows 7 PC?
  
• Are you aware of any recent changes on the PC, prior to this issue?

Printer Sharing In Windows 11

Hi Ivan,

On your Step 3, by "automatic", I assume you mean "Standard". So I select "Standard", and I can't see the shared printer by Windows 11 on my Windows 10 PC.
