Windows 10: Cannot activate Dolby Atmos for Headphones.Microsoft store connection error.

Hi everyone!So I've been trying to buy Dolby Atmos for Headphones for almost three days,everytime I got a meesage saying "Cannot activate Dolby Atmos for Headphones due Microsoft store connection error". Anyone having a solution for it? Thank you in advance.

I understand that the Dolby Atmos for headphones option is not showing in Spatial sound. We’ll definitely look into this for you. For us to provide you the most appropriate assistance, kindly provide us the information needed below:

1. What is the make and the model number of the computer?
   
2. Which build version of Windows 10 are you using?
   
3. May I know, since when are you facing this issue?
   
4. Are you aware of any other changes made on the computer prior to this issue?
   
5. Have you tried installing the
   Dolby Access app from Microsoft Store and checked?
   
6. Did you perform any troubleshooting steps to troubleshoot this issue?
   

I’d suggest you to download the Dolby Access app from the Windows Store and check. The app will guide you to setup headphones.

Dolby Atmos for Headphones

Go to the task bar

Right click on the sound icon

Open the Spatial Sound section

Tap on Dolby Access

It will automatically take you to the Microsoft Store

We will have to download the Dolby Access application. It is a paid application that you can download from the Microsoft Store but it has a free period of 30 days if you want to see if you are satisfied with using Dolby Atmos in Windows 10. You do not have
to add any payment method to be able to do the test.

Download and follow the steps to install Dolby Access on Windows and tap "Start" to start setting up surround sound on your computer.

Now you will have to configure your headphones

Connect them to the computer

Tap on "Continue"

Choose the audio source you want to use

It is ready and configured.

Once activated, your computer will already work with Dolby Atmos for Windows 10. When your free trial ends, you will have to pay to use Dolby Access to continue taking advantage of these benefits and this type of sound.
