Windows 10: Cannot change brightness in Windows 10 ***SOLVED*** using GeForce Nvidia Control Panel

In the taskbar on the bottom right, if you don't see the NVIDIA Settings icon, left click the ^ to open the list of all icons on the taskbar. When you see it, left click the NVIDIA Settings icon. This will open the NVIDIA Control Panel. In the NVIDIA control panel on the left will be a category named Display. For me it was already open, if it's not open for you, left click the + sign next to the word Display, to expand the Display category.You should see Adjust desktop color settings. Left click that, and on the right you should have slider bars for brightness, contrast, and gamma. Turni

where is NVIDIA control panel in windows 10?

I cannot seem to get the nvidia control panel (system tray)
I tried everything I could think of:

- Nvidia driver uninstall + device uninstall + change device auto install drivers in hardware settings + clean install... no joy...
- Windows automatically installs some nvidia drivers, no matter what I try and I can't see or find the control panel.

Any suggestions?

 

Unable to download NVIDIA control panel from the Store

Hello, I want to use teh DCH driver in my Windows 10 Pro computer, but when I try to download the NVIDIA control panel. Here's the link where I download it:

Windows 10 version 1903 Nvidia Control Panel issues.

Recently updated to Windows 10 version 1903, build 18362.175 I now realise the Nvidia Control Panel is not accepting desktop colour settings correctly.

If I have Fast start-up enabled then it ignores Choose how colour is set when I have Use NVIDIA settings selected. If I try to change the sliders to adjust brightness, contrast, gamma then the Nvidia Control Panel crashes and I have to restart it. If I restart
or disable Fast start-up then the Nvidia Control Panel settings work as they did in version 1809 (all builds)

I have tried the latest hotfix 430.97 from Nvidia but there is no improvement.

The only thing I haven't tried so far is to uninstall Nvidia drivers and re-install, I have previously updated as they are presented using GeForce Experience.
Any ideas??
