    Cannot change folders name

I have just installed Windows 10 on my Laptop. And i discovered that i cannot rename folders. I have tried some of the solutions that i found on the Internet, but some are complicated, with changes in the registry. In the error popup, it says that the error is 0x80004005:Unspecified ErrorStrange enough, i can rename files, instead. But not folders. Help me please, because it seems strange that i have to do magic just for windows to work properly!

    :)

  2. name changes??

If you desire a name change please do the following:

    • Ask yourself if you really need a name change.
    • Make sure you have a good reason.
    • Know what you want your new name to be before you request a name change.
    • Send Urlyin a PM containing a decent explanation of your reason as well as your desired name.

  3. Unable to change folder name

    Hi,

It is unusual that the folder name gets changed to "document" automatically during the backup.

I suggest you to try the steps below and check if the issue persists.

    1. Create the new folder, right click on it and select "properties".

    2. Click "customize".

    3. Under "optimize this folder for", select "general items" and also make sure to check the"also apply this template to all subfolder" option and save the changes.

    Let us know the result.
