    Hello...I'm trying to change my Windows login from a Local account to my Microsoft account and register the PC in my Microsoft account. I'm using the Accounts/Your Info button to do this. When I enter my account and passwords it tells me "username@microsoft.com is already here Another user on this device uses this microsoft account...." There are no other user accounts on the PC so I don't know why it says that. There are no folders in the USERS folder but the one for my account and PUBLIC. NET USERS shows a default user, I'm not sure what that is. Please help.

    Changing Existing "other accounts" to family by changing local login to microsoft account login?

    I have attached a screenshot of my account management section. It shows the accounts associated with my hotmail login as well as the local accounts that are currently shown under other accounts but I want to change to microsft account logins. I managed
    to do this with my account but am unable to do it with the remaing three. Allowing acces to this PC for the microsft account logins provides an additional logins but still doesn't allow me to change the local accounts.

    register PC with microsoft; use local account to log in

    Just simply log in with your Microsoft Account.
    Switch to Microsoft Account in Windows 10

    Just go back to using a local account:
    Switch to Local Account in Windows 10

    Hopefully the tutorials are step by step enough.
