Windows 10: Cannot change permissions on my computer Windows 11

Hello,I cannot change permissions for myself even though I am an admin. I believe the problem is that my laptop was the "display copy" in store and was therefore programmed to not allow people to mess with it. I can see there are administrators with full access but I cannot remove or change them. I know how to change permissions normally but it keeps saying "Access denied." even though it shows me as the administrator.In fact, there are some lingering problems with this being the display copy while we're at it; I live in the Czech Republic and some settings and elements are still in Czech even

Still struggling with the "Need Administrator Permission" to delete files on my own computer

I have tried to delete files from my computer that I put there. I get a box saying I need administrator permission, but this is my own personal computer. I have found others that have had the same problem, but the steps don't make sense with the windows program that I have now in september 2022 for windows 11. Any updated steps for how to get administrator permission on my own computer, or to at least remove this administrator permission requirement?

I am listed as "administrator" under settings>accounts... and that's who I am signed in as.

This article looked like it was going to help me with Windows 11, but it didn't.

Thank you for contacting Microsoft Community.

• Are you trying to give permission to particular files and folders?

I suggest you to follow the below step and check if it helps.

• Once you choose the file that you want to give permission, right click on it.
• Click on properties and go to security tab, check whether any permission have been set.
  
• After you have viewed the permissions that are already set, you can now click on the Advanced Button that is right below the "Permissions for Authenticated Users"
  
• Once you have clicked Advanced, a box like this should appear, the "Permission Entries" box, which shows all the permissions that are set for the users. Now, after you have spotted the user whose permissions you wish to change, click "Change Permissions.
• Click on the user you would like to edit, and then click the option that says "Change Permissions" which is right below the box.
• Once that is clicked, you are going to get the same box pop up, but this time, you can actually edit the options. You do that by clicking the "Administrators" user again, and this time, you are going to click the "Edit" option.
