Windows 10: Cannot change PIN complexity or PIN storage

Hello, Microsoft community!I've been having this problem for quite a while now. I've been surfing the web to try and find answers and none have worked. My computer makes me change my pin every 42 days, requires a pin of 6 digits, and will not let me use a previous PIN. I have tried using registry editor, system configuration, standard windows settings, and group policy editor, all for none to change it. I even in group policy editor, changed the PIN complexity from "Not Configured" to a pin complexity of 4 just to see if this would help my problem, but no dice. I'm looking for any way to chang

Setting a complex pin

I found this article, that tells me a PIN is better than a password, specifically:

It mentions that one can set "complex" pins:

"Something like t758A! could be an account password or a complex Hello PIN"

Now, try as i might, if i enter a ! or letters on changing my PIN ... nothing registers in the text field. How do i set such a complex PIN? I had face recognition enabled, but frankly i don't like the idea, but irrespective of whether or not its enabled,
makes no differences, it's numbers only.

Any ideas how to set a "complex Hello PIN"?

How does one change PIN complexity requirements in Windows 10 Home? gpedit.msc is not an available option.

Sign-In Pin Complexity

My old pin doesn't meet Microsoft's new complexity requirement.

If I want my pin to be 0000, or something equally simple, that is my own choice and Microsoft shouldn't have a say in it.
